Today we further discussed the bowling trip (on the 29th) and the showing of the movie TransAmerica (on the 7th of March). We also had a visit from Student Government pertaining to our fliers being ripped down. We have received great support from the Student Government ever since most of our fliers were ripped down and we can't think them enough. Student Advocate Jerimiah Rice printed disclaimer notices for our club and we distributed them across campus after our meeting.
While distributing the disclaimers we noticed that in the hallway for the Student Government office one of our fliers was ripped down. Two other fliers were ripped down in different areas on campus after Reily, Sam', and I had redistributed them last Tuesday. We don't know if this is some cruel joke, but we are hopefuly that with the new disclaimer people will stop breaking the law. Student Government has been notified about the redistributed fliers being ripped down.
On Friday we also had a few new members so we did introductions, voted on a new constitution, and voted Sam' and I as the official presidents of the club. Awesome! Our next meeting is on February 22nd at 12:45 p.m. in room 2946 - we are going to discuss a service project and we're going to do some "getting to know you" aka team building activities.
