Meeting Notes Friday May 15

Congratulations Project Pride Club~! Friday saw us at the quarterly campus Club Expo, hosted by the Campus Ambassadors who presented us with a certificate of Award for being the best club table at the Expo~! Picture above is courtesy of Jesse with more pictures from our family album to come in next week's blog, so stay close by.
On another note, Amelia sent us this exciting news from her home country:
Hey Club,
While things progress in the U.S. they do in Colombia as well. I'm sending you the Spanish articles for those of you who read Spanish.

For the first time in history the Colombian National Police recognized a homosexual partner of one of their members and allowed him to get the same health benefits, and other benefits any other partner would.
By the way.. Gay marriage is still not legal in Colombia, but some kind of domestic partnership (unión de hecho) does and that's a Big one for a LatinAmerican country!
I can't make it tomorrow, but just thought this would be a good thing to share.
Love,
Amelia
See everyone this Thursday for our Minority Awareness Event, happening on the bottom floor of the PUB. On Friday will be our weekly club meeting.
