For the first time in history the Colombian National Police recognized a homosexual partner of one of their members and allowed him to get the same health benefits, and other benefits any other partner would.
By the way.. Gay marriage is still not legal in Colombia, but some kind of domestic partnership (unión de hecho) does and that's a Big one for a LatinAmerican country!
